Ban the English Defence League March

Fabian Hamilton has written urgently to Alan Johnson the Home Secretary adding his voice the the thousands calling for the planned march by the English Defence League in Leeds on the 31st March 209 to be banned. This organisation is perceived as a cover for far right extremists and Islamphobes who will deliberately and provocatively whip up tension and incite potential riots on the streets of the city. Fabian says, "The Council also has a duty to take any action it can to prevent this march and ensure that there is no threat to public disorder and racial harmony."
