Constituency Office Staff
Valerie Baum, Ian Carnegie, Fabian Hamilton, Gerry Harper, Doug Masterton and Laura Harper
Fabian's Constituency Office in Roundhay has staff who are there to help constituents. All staffing costs are met by the annual Salaries Budget provided by the taxpayer through the House of Commons. All staffing costs are well within the allocated budget. Total amounts spent on each of the budgets provided are published in the Autumn of every year under the Freedom of Information Act. It is illegal to disclose the salaries of individual members of staff. No relative or family member of Fabian is employed by him.
Gerry Harper
Gerry is the 'Chief of Staff', responsible for running the constituency office, ensuring that casework is dealt with, dealing with the press on Fabian's behalf and standing in for him when he's not in Leeds. Former Labour Councillor Gerry was Fabian's Agent in the 2005 and 2001 General Elections. He deals with all Visa, Immigration and Asylum cases as well as CSA cases from the Roundhay Road office.

Ian Carnegie
Ian Carnegie is the Office Manager and Diary Secretary. He deals with all matters to do with Fabian's Diary and ensures that the office runs efficiently. He deals with visits to the House of Commons and is IT Manager. He also keeps track of all bill payments and budgets.

Laura Harper
Laura is Fabian's Personal Assistant. She attends Advice Surgeries and makes notes. She then follows up casework ensuring that letters are written and she deals with incoming correspondence. Laura is responsible for typing, database management and keeping the website up to date.
Laura gave birth to a baby boy, Evan, on the 17th April 2008. She is currently dividing her time working partly at home and partly in the office. She is normally in the office on Thursday and Fridays and assists with surgeries each Saturday.
