Hard work by Fabian for the Post Office Card Account pays off

Fabian was delighted to learn recently that the government has decided to award the new contract for the Post Office Card Account to the Post Office.

Fabian has worked hard to ensure the security of the Card Account and has been supported by many of his constituents who were concerned about the future of local post offices and lobbied him on this issue. This is an important contract for the Post Office and will help to make many branches around the country more secure, especially those in Leeds North East. Groups who use post offices extensively, particularly pensioners, are pleased to learn that valued services are not going to change.

On Monday 17th November 2008 Fabian wrote a letter to these constituents detailing the new contract and thanking them for all their support in this campaign.
