Presentation Afternoon at Carr Manor Community School

Presentation of awards at Carr Manor Community School

Fabian was delighted and honoured to be once more invited to Carr Manor Community School on the occasion of the ‘Presentation Afternoon’. This red-letter day in the school calendar is where students receive awards for attendance, academic achievement, sporting excellence and their contributions to the community.

Fabian congratulates Danny Jackson and Adrian Ellis, recipients this year of the Akram Khammo Award for outstanding overall achievement

On a blazing sunny afternoon, which in itself seemed to add to the glory of the occasion, parents, staff and students filled a packed assembly hall for a true celebration of human achievement. Jamie Jones Buchanan of Leeds Rhinos Rugby League and Fabian were both guest speakers. In his address after the series of presentations Fabian not only praised what the students themselves had achieved but also paid tribute to the staff at Carr Manor High who, in creating a very successful school, had given the students the best possible start to their lives.
