Warm Homes Campaign 2008: Fabian Hamilton MP joins in the nationwide campaign for affordable warmth this winter. The Warm Homes Campaign seeks to ensure that buildings are properly insulated and that vulnerable groups in society such as pensioners do not suffer with cold through fuel poverty. Many grave problems arise when people are forced to live in cold damp homes.
Fabian has campaigned for the reduction in global fuel prices to be passed on directly to consumers and for energy bills to tumble.

Campaign to collect books to give to Sierra Leone. Local school children are being invited to get involved in a book donation scheme to help children in a country with one of the poorest literacy rates in the world. The scheme is being organised by Claire Curtis-Thomas MP for Crosby and Formby and is strongly supported by Fabian Hamilton.
