In October 2010 Fabian, his wife Rosy together with Sir John Stanley MP and his wife made a private visit to Poland as a personal pilgimage to see the former concentration camps of Auschwitz and Birkenau. The visit was paid for by themselves. They were also able to visit the factory formerly owned by Oscar Schindler who saved many of his Jewish employees lives.
